Our substance use programs focus on person-centered and trauma-informed recovery planning in a therapeutic outpatient environment. Services are provided by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and delivered based on your personal goals, strengths, and needs.

Metrocare offers Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to all individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorders and Fentanyl usage, regardless of health insurance coverage. MAT clients can receive services for up to one year alongside the Intensive Outpatient program and ongoing recovery services.

MAT is a better way to recover! Studies show that MAT is the best way to reduce harm and sustain recovery.

Metrocare Substance Use Disorder Services

Now your loved one has the option to stay in their current living environment while receiving the intensive medical assistance needed for detox treatment and ongoing Medicated Assisted Treatment for the full continuum of outpatient care.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Services provided for Adults 18 years and older by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Frequency is based on the intensity of need but averages 6 hours per week for approximately 3 months with long term recovery supports in place upon the Intensive Outpatient Program completion.

Ambulatory Detox Services

for those with Opioid Use Disorder and/or alcohol dependency provided for Adults 18 years and older by a Licensed Physician and Registered Nurse. The Ambulatory Detox program lasts for 28 days with up to 6 hours of treatment per day. To participate, individuals must also pair Ambulatory Detox services with our Intensive Outpatient program to build long-term skills to maintain sobriety.

Metrocare offers outpatient substance use treatment services tailored to each person’s needs and recovery goals. Services include assessments, individualized recovery plans, individual and group counseling, peer support, recovery coaching, relapse prevention and education about substance use and related health risks. Depending on your needs, treatment may include an Intensive Outpatient Program, ambulatory detox services or medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Metrocare’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured substance use treatment while allowing participants to remain in their current living environment. The program serves adults ages 18 and older, with treatment frequency based on individual needs. Services average approximately six hours per week for about three months, with ongoing recovery support available after completion.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines medication with other recovery services to help people with substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder. Metrocare offers MAT alongside its Intensive Outpatient Program and ongoing recovery support. The program is designed to help individuals reduce the risks associated with substance use and work toward sustained recovery. Yes. Metrocare offers ambulatory detox services for adults ages 18 and older with opioid use disorder and/or alcohol dependence.
