ACER Presenter Proposal Submission

The Altshuler Center for Education (ACER) values its partnerships with members of the community. In our mission to bring top-tier training and knowledge to the community, we look forward to partnering with counseling professionals in DFW to expand the breadth and depth of continuing education provided by ACER.

ACER accepts proposals on an ongoing basis and scheduling of approved program varies based on existing programming scheduled, availability of staff and training facilities, presenter availability and the time needed for advertising and marketing programs.

Please review the presenter guidelines and content.

All presenters must be included on the original submission
Lead presenters must have a graduate degree in a mental health field from a regionally accredited educational institution and be qualified by appropriate education, experience, and/or training to present/author the particular subject matter
All presenters and co-presenters must submit an updated CV or Resume and their license must be in good standing.
All presenters must be present in person and are in close proximity to the DFW area.
Approved presenters must sign a presenter acknowledgment and agreement accepting the policies and procedures for ACER education programs.

Intended Audience(Required)

New Professionals, Novice Counselors: Session appropriate for new counselors in the field.

Intermediate Professionals: Individuals should have a working knowledge of the subject matter and hope to build upon a foundation of skills, knowledge, and expertise.

Seasoned Professionals: These sessions require an advanced level of expertise in the subject matter. Learners are assumed to have strong knowledge in this area.

Proposal Selection(Required)

60-Minute These 60-minute sessions may be scheduled in the morning or the afternoon. We find that most attended programs are offered on Fridays.

3-Hour These 3.0 sessions are scheduled usually scheduled Friday morning from 9am-12pm and allow time for advanced levels of learning or more detailed topics.
