What is AOT?

Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) is a court-ordered program that provides community-based mental health care for adults with serious mental illness who struggle to stay in treatment voluntarily. Its goal is to help individuals remain engaged in care, reduce hospitalizations, and support stability while living in the community.
