a not-for-profit philanthropic mental health care clinic that serves post-9/11 veterans and military families throughout North Texas, announced that it is now providing individual treatment to active duty service members.

Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 11:30 a.m., Metrocare will host a ceremonial ribbon cutting and clinic tour of a new, state-of-the-art mental health clinic for Grand Prairie children and adults. The clinic will open its doors to patients Monday, April 5 at 8:00 a.m.

Metrocare announces a $3,999,992 grant award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for the expansion of Metrocare as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). A federal investment of this magnitude has massive implications for better access to best-in-class, integrated behavioral health care across Dallas County.
