Ivette Marquez serves on the Board to advocate for trauma-informed, equitable mental health care and to champion initiatives that empower the communities Metrocare serves. As a first-generation professional, she is deeply committed to increasing access, representation, and culturally responsive care within systems that shape policy and service delivery.

Ivette is a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves as Clinical Supervisor at Alliance for Children, the Tarrant County Child Advocacy Center. She is also the founder of Tu Y Yo Counseling, PLLC, a bilingual private practice focused on trauma-informed care. Her lived experience, combined with her clinical expertise, provides valuable perspective in advancing equity and meaningful community impact.
