Adult Mental Health Services (18+)
Personalized, evidence-based mental health care for adults, including counseling, psychiatry, medication management, peer support, and case management. Metrocare also provides specialized programs for individuals with severe mental illness, substance abuse, and forensic mental health needs. Services are tailored to each individual’s needs through an initial assessment and are available across multiple Dallas County locations, with low- or no-cost options for those who qualify.
Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (Ages 3–18)
Comprehensive mental health support for children and teens, including evaluation, counseling, psychiatric services, skills development, and family-centered care. Each child receives an individualized treatment plan made with input from both caregivers and providers. Metrocare offers more intensive services and specialized treatment for suicide prevention, early psychosis support, transition services for young adults, and more. Services are available regardless of ability to pay and are designed to support success at home, school, and in the community.
Mental Health Crisis Services (24/7)
Immediate support is available 24/7 for anyone in Dallas County experiencing a mental health crisis. Metrocare’s crisis team provides confidential help by phone andin the community through Mobile Crisis Outreach. Support is available for individuals experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, and psychiatric symptoms. Peer support is also available for those seeking help before a crisis occurs.
