Kenneth R. Bernstein


Kenneth Bernstein is a resident of Dallas and is a Certified Public Accountant (Retired) in the State of Texas.  Ken retired from Ernst & Young as an Assurance Partner after 37 years.  His clients included many healthcare organizations in the Southwest and around the U.S. His work experiences included financial statement audits of not-for-profit, for profit and governmental entities, due diligence services, bond offerings, and registrations of equity and debt securities.  Ken also served in the firm’s National Office and was part of the firm’s Professional Practice Quality and Risk Management team.

After Ken graduated from W. T. White School in Dallas, he attended Macalester College (St. Paul, MN), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1977. He then earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 1979.

In addition to Metrocare Services, Ken has been active with the Dallas Theater Center, having served on their Board for 19 years, including four as President.  He continues to serve on the Dallas Theater Center Endowment Fund.  Ken also was a Director and Treasurer for Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, which administers a broad range of programs to address local workforce issues.
