DESCRIPTION:Objectives: \nParticipants will demonstrate knowledge in how to help people with IDD using TBRI® as an evidence based\, trauma informed\, holistic intervention rooted in attachment. \nDiscuss strategies and techniques that make it easier to relate to people with IDD in the ways they communicate best\, non-verbally and through playful interaction. \nDiscuss strategies to help teach people with IDD self-regulation through internal (physiological) and external (environmental) strategies. \nRecognize the importance of a balance between structure and nurture for regulation and changed behavior. \n  \nRegister Here
