Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services

Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services includes traditional outpatient services such as evaluation, medication, monitoring, counseling, and skills development for children ages 3-18 who are experiencing symptoms of emotional disturbance. Metrocare also offers intensive services through our outpatient clinics with a focus on young children aged 3-6 and children and adolescents at risk of removal from their homes.

Early Childhood Intervention

Early Childhood Intervention is a state and federally funded program through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. ECI supports families to help their children reach their potential through development services.

Mental Health Care

Military Family & Children

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare provides quality, accessible, and comprehensive mental health care to veterans and their families regardless of ability to pay. Services are available to any person who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role or discharge status.

Pharmacy Services

Metrocare offers the convenience of onsite pharmacies at most of the Metrocare centers where clients can fill necessary prescriptions.

Primary Health Care

Primary Care at Metrocare utilizes an integrated care model to offer adults and children primary care and behavioral health care at the same location. We are pleased to offer family medicine and pediatrics at several of our selected sites.

TCOOMI

TCOOMMI is a collaborative partnership between Metrocare and Dallas County to provide intensive, community-based, therapeutic intervention and supervision to youth and adults on probation/parole.

Youth Empowerment Services Waiver

The Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Waiver is a 1915(c) Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services Waiver that allows for more flexibility in the funding of intensive community-based services to assist children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances to live in the community with their families.
