Ms. Walton-Brooks brings a wide variety of experience from careers in both the dental and medical field (while simultaneously earning her bachelor’s degree), to her current role as an independent technical writing and development consultant.

She earned an Associates of Arts in Developmental Disabilities in North Dakota while she worked in the MR field. She then varied her skills as a counselor at Little Rock Job Corps in Arkansas. After moving to Texas, she earned her Master’s degree in Counseling while working in MHMR but later dedicated her career to Human Resources using her talents in training and development. She has previously served as the Program Director of a Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities grant at The ARC of Dallas.
