GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Will provide support and coordination to the Center for Children with Autism program.  The incumbent accepts and follows the philosophy and policies/procedures as interpreted by Metrocare management and best practices.  This position will perform behavioral assessments, develop and implement acquisition, education, and verbal behavior programs for parents and caregivers, and monitor behavioral programs in order to reduce/eliminate problem behaviors while teaching replacement skills.  Must possess and demonstrate effective written communication skills.  Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with staff and families.  Must have a working knowledge of current Regulations and Policy/Procedures regarding service delivery to individuals with autism.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The LCSW coordinates services and provides community-based psychosocial rehabilitation programming and therapeutic services to individuals or groups of consumers assigned to a specific treatment team.  As an effective member of the treatment team, the LCSW participates in treatment team meetings, interacts with assigned consumers, documents behavioral interventions, and works cooperatively with other team members to provide services, which ameliorate symptoms of mental illness for consumers assigned to the team.
